SOLD OUT
The tour will explore the Jewish thread in the permanent collection of the High Museum, ranging from biblical themes to featured Jewish artists. A few examples of the pieces that will be viewed are:
The Veiled Rebecca: The High Museum holds one of four copies of this unique piece. The statue appears to be covered in a veil, while made of marble.
A portrait of a dog by Alex Katz
Draco: Created by German artist Anselm Kiefer, Draco is a massive piece measuring 15 ½ by 18 ¼ ft. The piece, like much of Kiefer’s work, is made with one-point perspective, suggesting infinity.
Registration for the event will open a month before the start of the event.
$10 for Breman Museum Members
$18 for Non-Members
