Join us for a tour of Congregation Or VeShalom, the first Sephardic synagogue in Atlanta, celebrating its 100 anniversary. The name Sephardi means "Spanish" or "Hispanic", derived from Sepharad, a Biblical location.
The congregation, founded by Jews from Turkey and the Isle of Rhodes, is now home to an extremely diverse membership that traces its roots from the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, North, Central and South America.
