Historic Jewish Atlanta Tour: MACoM – Metro Atlanta Community Mikvah

Experience History at its Source!

Learn all about the ritual of the mikvah and specifically about the MACoM Metro Atlanta community Mikvah. Enjoy a short tour of the new facility and a staff-led discussion.

The mikvah is an essential gateway to Judaism. For those who convert to (or are adopted into) Judaism, immersion in this special pool of water that meets certain ritual criteria is the act that makes them part of our Jewish people, and it is essential for many other lifecycle and spiritual uses as well.
