Overview

In 2012, the Women of Valor Chai Quilt was created as part of the Breman’s Legacy Quilt project. The project produced three quilts which were displayed as part of the Creating Community Exhibition at the museum. The Women of Valor Chai Quilt represents eighteen Jewish women who have made significant contributions to the arts, social service, politics, and social justice in the last 50 years of Georgian history. Each of their contributions are commemorated through the art of quilting.

This beautiful quilt is a traveling educational resource available for on-site programs. To bring the quilt to your organization, please contact Pat Pugrant (404-630-3204), whose efforts made the Legacy Quilt project possible.
