Plan Your Virtual Tour Today!
We offer a docent-led virtual tour of our permanent exhibition, Absence of Humanity: The Holocaust Years, 1933-1945, using special software that allows the viewer to feel as if they are in the gallery. This tour presents a detailed history of the events that led up to the Holocaust, the atrocities perpetrated by the Nazis during World War II, and the post-war lives of those who survived. The Absence of Humanity Exhibition was designed by local Holocaust survivor Benjamin Hirsch, z"l, and features historic photographs, personal memorabilia and family documents of the survivors who moved to Atlanta after the war.
The Director of Holocaust Education, Rabbi Prass, remotely leads a live tour of the museum using a 3D rendering of the gallery. The tour lasts 55 minutes with a Q&A at the end. Videos of survivor testimony are provided to supplement the tour.
